Fun Shed Writing 4JP

Over half term, 4JP had the optional task of doing some writing based on a video in the Fun Shed on the Literacy Shed website.

Here are some of their pieces of writing.

Oktapodi 2 by Will B

Suddenly the squid launched at the seagull and grabbed it.  It started smashing the gull in a lot of pain.  The gull made an attempt to shake her off by a dive into the sea.  It worked...sort of.  It managed to set them free. However the man had fallen into the see and suddenly he grabbed them an swam to shore. You think it's the end now but see the gull only attacked the man for his food.  The squids made a run for it when the man dropped them.  Meanwhile, the man slipped and fell back into the sea, holding the seagull.  The two squids lived happily ever after until a shark approached...

The Man in Oktapodi by Finlay

At the beginning of the film, the man is determined to catch the squid.  He was vicious with them.  He looked aggressive to the octopus.  He looked angry and was a dreadful driver. The man is tall and thin with a big nose and bushy eyebrows.  He is wearing a clean, white vest top with grey jeans.  He has brown,straight hair with matching thick sideburns and his lips are thin.
