War Game Homework Task

In the two weeks following Armistice day, year 4 have been reading Michael Foreman's book, 'War Game,' and have been learning about conditions in the trenches during WW1.
All children were asked to produce a homework task connected with this theme. I was astonished at the quality and variety of work produced. Several children baked cakes or made Trench Stew from authentic WW1 recipes.  Some constructed intricate models of the trenches whilst others researched WW1 and made powerpoint presentations or fact sheets.
The propaganda posters were also excellent. I would be very interested to read comments from viewers about their favourites, from the pictures below. Mrs C :)
