As part of our exciting new Tudors topic 4TC have been acting out scenes from the early part of Henry VIII's reign up to and including the reformation.
In this first scene the children created a pose from Henry's marriage to Catherine of Aragon. I thought they accurately reflected the happy mood of: Catherine, the Spanish ambassador and the pope (in the back ground.)
There were two other groups that created fantastic freeze frames of the moment that Henry was granted a divorce from Catherine of Aragon. It was tricky to decide between these two pouting Catherine of Aragons. They were both awarded a horrible histories pencil as a prize for their superb acting skills. Awards were also given to two convincing Popes for 'best pouts in a supporting role!'
Can you spot the moment that Henry falls for Anne Boleyn? Or the day Henry announces himself as head of the church? Well done for your enthusiasm and understanding of events leading up to the reformation. Good Job! Mrs C:)
Amelia - I played Catherine of Aragon and was cuddling my friend who played the role of my daughter Mary. I enjoyed it and I hope that the others enjoyed it too.
