Travelling from England to Cairo 4JP

As we stepped through our portal into Egypt in 1922, each group went to a different point along the journey with Howard Carter.

One group was on the ferry from England to Alexandria, just viewing the Egyptian coastline.  Another group was stepping off the ferry while the next group was hiring a faluca to travel down the Nile.  The last two groups were on the faluca and stepping off of it in Cairo.  Can you tell which picture is which group?

Then, we stepped through our portal into Cairo in 1922. We used these YouTube videos to help us imagine what it was like to be there.  We took down notes on all the senses so we were ready to do some multisensory locational writing.

    Wow!! What an adventure you have been on Year 4! You all look to be extremely excited about your learning. I look forward to you posting some of your locational writing; remember to include lots of different senses and description to transport me to Egypt 1922.

    This activate was really fun we made a play about arriving at Cario it teached me a lots about Cario thank you mrs Payne
