We had so much fun on our final morning before half term! We made papyrus out of parcel paper.

We will then be using the paper to write an explanation text about mummification!
What an amazing experience! You have joined in an art dating back as much as 6000 years where Egyptians made "paper" from the papyrus plant. Of course their process was a little different as they used strips of papyrus laid in two layers and you have used strips of paper but it is hard to find papyrus in Sussex or even down here in Australia. :)
